The Island: Pacific is a puzzle-adventure board game set on a mysterious, abandoned island. Other versions of The Island:Atlantic, The Island: Indian, The Island: Arctic have the same modeling with alternate island locations.
In the game, each player takes on the role of a stranded explorer. The game explorers navigate the island's dense jungle and ancient ruins. The goal is to escape from the island by discovering its secrets. Each player advances with a seven sided die roll. As the player progresses, QR codes and smart-phone play challenge the player through puzzles solving. Puzzles include decoding hieroglyphs, uncovering hidden passageways, and manipulating the island's ancient technology to advance. As the game player progresses through the game, they will uncover the history of the island and its earlier inhabitants, revealing the downfall of a powerful civilization. Other components of the game play: native wild animals and treacherous environments. If the player can't solve the puzzles presented on their phone, they will be unable to advance. The physical board game features beautiful, detailed graphics, an immersive atmosphere through QR codes, and an engaging story that keeps the players hooked until the end where the winner prevails.
